From the Creative Team:

So what is an elopement anyways? Isn't it when two people run to the courthouse to get married in secret? I hear this all the time when I tell people I am an elopement photographer and what is my answer? "Heck no – that is such an outdated way of thinking!" Nowadays, an elopement is an intentionally small, intimate, meaningful, authentic wedding day that’s a true reflection of your relationship — where the focus of the day is really about you and what matters most to you two. This means there are endless possibilities of what a day can look like. Maybe it's just the two of you climbing a mountain and saying your vows at the top, or inviting your closest family members to hear your vows in the mists of Iceland, or bringing your 30 closest peoples to take the gondola up the top of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort with you to celebrate your love. This Crowsnest Pass styled elopement was the perfect blend of adventure and whimsy to really show off how a full day elopement can be spent. From catching sunrise on a mountain summit, walking through waterfalls and skipping past alpine lakes, to exploring the Leitch Collieries Provincial Historic Site (complete with a vegetarian-friendly picnic!) this is truly what it is all about!
