Refined and minimalist, Julie and Will choose a standout venue, Pine and Pond for their chic, outdoor summer wedding. Photographed by Naomi Marina Photography, we love their use of copper which added so much to the garden surrounding. A sweet outdoor ceremony was followed by a reception under the stars in a clear tent. Julia wore a modern gown in a new-classic silhouette, and her hair draped her shoulder in a loose chignon at the base of her neck. "We were working with a tight budget, trying to pull of a minimalist chic aesthetic. The entire venue really lent itself to pull off the majority of this look with the natural setting, clear tent, and beautiful wooden tables and chairs. They provided a few of the decor details, including the vintage china plates, candle votives and jars of baby's breath. The rest of the decor was a compilation of DIY projects and help from friends. My sister helped me design all of the signs we had hanging and we printed them off at staples. All of the copper arches and sign holders were made courtesy of our friend who is a plumber and has ample access to copper piping at cost. The floral hoops behind the head table I made using metal hoops from Michael's, copper spray paint, fake greenery and flowers, and hours of labour. In the end, it all came together better than I could have hoped for, and we are so thankful for all of the help of our incredible friends and family!"
