From the photographer:

Bryanne and Lars-Erik were engaged while on holidays in Copenhagen, Denmark and decided on a mountain wedding at the beautiful Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Lars-Erik's family are danish and the bride and groom fully embrace the danish way of living and embody hygge [a quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being (regarded as a defining characteristic of Danish culture)].

Their dream was to have an outdoor winter mountain wedding with a hygge influence: warm and cozy. They held their wedding ceremony outside on the Lakeview Terrace down beside the lake. The fresh snowfall made for a picturesque mountain scene. Guests stayed warm taking advantage of the amazing hot chocolate bar and with cozy blankets provided at each chair. Surrounded by the glow of candlelight, family and friends, greenery, nature, and simple elegance, it couldn't have been a more beautiful day.

Wanting to provide their own personal touch for the reception, Bryanne and Lars-Erik hand made most of the decor and favours. The Victoria Ballroom couldn’t have been a more beautiful setting for the evening.
