Today's real wedding from Nicole.Field Photography is a total gem. Bo and Shane planned a day that was simple elegance, at it's finest. A fall wedding, these two choose the River Café as their Calgary wedding venue, a perfect spot that highlights the beauty of our city and in a time of year where it's nature is on full display! Bo + Shane were married in the heart of Calgary at River Cafe. It was sooooo incredible + I would highly recommend this venue to everyone wanting a gorgeous outdoor ceremony nestled in the trees of Princes Island park with a splash of city as a backdrop + a cozy cabin/lodge vibe for the reception!
The morning arrived and I headed over to the Brides parents home. It was a lovely morning together + it included 50th Parallel bubbly and Smash + Tess rompers (I totally bought a black romper after that!) Hair + Makeup was done by Alisha Gionet. The ladies were dressed in soft blush gowns from Blush & Raven Bridal Boutique. Bo got her dress from Pearl + Dot and her veil/wings are from Made with Love Bridal. She looked absolutely BO-TIFUL 🙂
The guys got ready at Hotel Arts and my second shooter Jessie Lanaway captured the city essence in such a beautiful way! Thank you Jessie for helping!
We arrived at the ceremony. Guests were provided hot apple cider + blankets to snuggle up in! There were Violinists + stunning floral columns. It was an emotional ceremony, which included personal heartfelt vows and ended with champagne for all!
The River Cafe staff was amazing + brought out Hors d’�”uvres during Bridal Portraits, not just once but 2-3 times! It was such a nice treat + thank you for sharing! Bo + Shane had stunning floral arrangements created by Wild Magnolia Floral. They opted for an elegant style, a bit of funk (with the addition of the protea) and moodiness with burgundy tones and a pop of pink with the Juliet garden rose. Absolutely stunning! The couple brought REAL flower petals, which was a fun addition to photos! River Cafe provided a bottle of champagne to pop out on the patio before heading into the reception! It was the perfect way to end bridal portraits!!
Welcomed by beautiful Calligraphy signs + place cards guests found their seats and the reception was in full swing! Tears, laughter + fun filled the evening!
