Things we love – vibrant, colourful wedding palettes! Today’s stunning Real Wedding delivers in a big way. Woodland and Wildflower Weddings hosted Leah and Ernest’s wedding in the heart of Northern Alberta. Using the emerald greens of the forest as a background colour, this couple choose a palette of violets, fuchsia, yellow, orange and royal blue for a stand out wedding design. Bridesmaids in mismatched gowns, flowers with incredible pop, and a vintage rustic inspired elements, like Leah’s beautiful off-the-shoulder lace gown, gave this entire day a warm and intimate, but thoughtful vibe. From the couple:
Our day was magical. We wanted a bright, boho celebration that would be as unique as it would be lots of fun. Our venue curated it all, from the design, to the florals and the planning. Jesse and Laurie truly delivered. Our ceremony was so personalized and intimate, we certainly felt the love surrounding us. Our favourite moments were when our sweet daughter ran up to join us during the ceremony and reached for our hands! We were forever joined together as a family and it was perfect! After our vows were whispered to each other, we escaped for a private, sunset photoshoot while our guests enjoyed live music, Caesars, Prosecco and charcuterie followed by a delish smoky Southern BBQ. Our Maid of Honour sang as we danced our first dance and the party continued into the wee hours of the night. It was the time of our lives.
