The Bridal Expo Artisan Market Preview

Bridal Expo is Calgary’s largest Fall wedding expo and it is filled to the BRIM with local Calgary wedding vendors, it’s almost impossible to imagine that they would be able to pack even more local talent into the BMo Centre – but they have! This year is the first ever Bridal Expo Artisan Market, featuring some of your favourite local designers and creators and the beautiful wares they bring to Calgary brides and Alberta brides. Meet all the featured creatives in this year’s Bridal Expo Artisan Market!

Cinder & Sage, otherwise known as the brainchild of Designer Lindsay Sauders is a full line of hand-crafted jewelry. We especially like the leaf hair combs, which can be worn individually or grouped together to make a modern hair accessory.

Little Me Paper Co. showcases the watercolor talents of artist Leanne Grover. These custom designed wedding invitations are not only a work of art but are designed to tell a story about the couple. Worthy of framing, these keepsakes are invites your wedding guests will actually want to keep!

Tribe + Society, from Sophie Gabais-Moffat, showcases unique, modern jewelry. Our favorite are the engraved brass tag necklaces, which we think would make amazing bridesmaid gifts. Did you know you can stamp your own special message into the necklace? Perfect.

Enchanted Decora shows of the creative work of Joanna Belanger. These keepsake pieces can be custom created for invites, tables or other parts of your celebration.

Chalkboards & Co from Vickie Sloot, talented visual artist, helps Brides keep the flow of their day moving in style. Purchase from her collection or have her create a vintage inspired chalkboard sign that will be creative, informative and special to your own wedding.

Henna Art by Ayesha brings the ancient art of Henna to the Bridal Expo Artisan Market. Come and try out a design, and see why Aisha Ahmed brides love the henna they receive!

Mother Co. is the solution to groomsmen gifts! Forget the silver flask, these knapsacks and duffle bags are handcrafted in Calgary. They are the perfect gift for the men in the wedding.

Mad Mrs. Rochester makes one of a kind bride and bridesmaid dresses – really. Desiree makes each piece from vintage fabric and crocheted pieces.
