Intimate Priddis Wedding with Bold Teal Details

As lovers of bold colour, we adore Stacy and Ryan’s Azuridge wedding day planned by Julianne Young Weddings. Thanks to its architecture, Azuridge boasts views (and photo locations) like no other Rocky Mountain wedding venue, and Sean LeBlanc Photography took every opportunity to highlight the beauty of their wedding day. Stacy’s bridesmaids wore bold teal, a vibrant colour that looked incredible against the emerald of the surrounding trees. Julianne used that teal as a throughline, and created an intimate reception with the same bold hues and hints of giraffe print, as giraffes have a very special meaning to Stacy’s family. White, Blush, Lavender Wedding Bouquet

From the planner:

“During the design process, I noticed there were pictures of giraffes in the couple’s home, so I asked why and discovered that the bride’s family had donated the first giraffes to the Calgary Zoo. For that reason, we incorporated a subtle & chic giraffe design throughout the wedding, such as on the stationery and in the sugar cookie design for the wedding favours. The giraffes were so unique and had a special meaning to making this wedding to perfect for Stacy & Ryan. ” – Julianne Young

From the bride:

“We wanted an intimate and personal wedding that also showed some of our quirks. We wrote individualized notes to each guest, which were on their place settings at the reception along with custom sugar cookies. We also incorporated a subtle giraffe flare to the decor, and had a lighthearted and fun ceremony outside in the gazebo.” – Stacy.
