Seychelles Islands by Andras Schram Photography

The isolated Seychelles islands may be one of the world’s best kept secrets, and are the perfect destination for ecology-minded couples who love nature, and are looking to get away from it all. This archipelago consists of 115 islands, and is located about a thousand miles off the eastern coast of Africa, right in the middle of the Indian Ocean. The islands are scattered over 400,000 square kilometres of the Indian Ocean, and range from granite rock islands with lush vegetation to coral atolls that barely rise out of the sea.

These awe inspiring photos were taken by Photographer Andras Schram, on the island of La DIgue, the third-largest inhabited island of the Seychelles in terms of population. It has a population of about 2,000 people, who mostly live in the west coast villages of La Passe and Pa Reunion.
