Secret Desert Wedding from Hoodoos in Drumehller, Alberta

From the Designer:

Have you ever dreamed of a Coachella style wedding? An elopement with all the vibes of a festival! We did, and we brought it to life with an amazing team of vendors to be captured by photographers who attended our secret desert wedding portfolio builder. The layered boho style rugs leading to the door of the Lavish Canvas tent filled with even more rugs, and velvet pillows from Orange Trunk Vintage Rentals, draped with vintage amber pendant lights from Coven Creative, and a low table set for two with an eclectic blend of vintage and curated finds to enhance the design. A rusty amber coloured two-tiered cake by Modern Bake with glass terrarium and dried florals along with the incredible styled grazing board from Devour Catering filled out the table design The style for our bride was striking with a Rue de Seine lace gown from The Bridal Boutique Calgary, with an open back where our hair and makeup artist, Robin of Avenue Beauty used gold and gem tattoos to enhance the festival glam style. The gold foil added to Libi’s perfect curls was just enough glam for this festival bride. The jewelry from Evstenroos added the perfect touch of boho with drop earrings and spectacular rings. Our creative team amazed the attendees with a walk into the hoodoos with mirrors, hand-lettered by Mountain Grove Studios, resting in the rocks for out of this world portraits with our
bride, Libi. Another stop on our wandering through the hoodoos was an oasis for portraits with wicker details, macrame hanging lamp, and dreamy florals by Creative Edge Florals. With sunset fast approaching, the ambient lighting was lit, and the impressive hand-knotted macrame swing by The Knot Garden was hung in the tent. With new dried floral arrangements hugging the entry of the tent.
Our final details were the styled flat lays from Curated Kits, with more hand-lettered details in the lost love note, worn leather pieces, and the remarkable bouquet. As the sunset behind the hoodoos, our tent was lit beautifully in the distance, and our bride made her way to the ledges for more sensational captures by our lead photographer, Amber, of Captured in Amber Photography.
With each vendor, we build an amazing team to bring to life these styled dreams, and as a workshop host and designer, I could not create any of it without each of them pouring their own heart and art into the designs alongside me.
