From the photographer:
This romantic styled session was inspired by a love of classic elegance and the rustic outdoors. On one day a couple might be found climbing a mountain and on the next, dressing up for a classy night on the town - and what if you want both represented in your wedding style? The location for the shoot, the charming Riverside Chateau, is a hidden gem situated on the Elbow River in Bragg Creek, AB. The log cabin, interior furnishings and surrounding nature were the perfect setting for our inspired shoot.
Our real and truly in love couple enjoyed decadent deserts by Just One Bite Brownies displayed with fresh fruit and champagne on the veranda of the chateau. We headed upstairs to one of the spacious suites to capture the couple and their detailed attire. The bride wore a stunning embroidered lace gown by Maggie Sottero accented by a handmade hair piece by Higashi Design and red lipstick to bring a touch of vintage romance. The bouquet and boutonniere were designed by Wild Rose Flowers & Gifts with pearl details to compliment the bride's attire and blue sprayed accents to compliment the grooms navy suit.
We journeyed around the property to capture the couple's romance by the outdoor river stone fireplace, a rustic log stack in the forest, and the beautiful riverside as the sun lowered on the horizon. Our final stop allowed us to capture the valley and distant mountains at sunset.
Everything from start to finish was incredible and we all had a blast pulling together all the details! A huge thank you goes out to our wonderful hosts at the Riverside Chateau and all the vendors that made this shoot such a success!
