The beauty and delicate extravagance of royal French life is the perfect wedding for a modern, whimsical bride. Filled with dream-like pastels and touches of ornate gold, it’s no wonder that Paige Woodbury Photography and Three Wishes Events and Weddings teamed up with Cameo & Cufflinks and Creative Weddings Stationery Design to bring this era of decadence and beauty to life! As a wedding planner at Three Wishes Events and Weddings, I am always excited to bring a bride’s vision to reality. When I was coming up with the Marie Antoinette stylized shoot I wanted to deliver something to the bridal world that felt dreamy and timeless, as if they were stepping into a storybook. By bringing together an amazing group of local vendors and small businesses we were able create something that brought Marie Antoinette to 2015. The detail and amount of work that went into everything created for this day from each vendor was unbelievable. Monika and her staff at Twisted Tortes created with perfection every gorgeous baked good, and went above and beyond expectation. Jessica at Willow and Whimsy made sure to incorporate earthy and grand textures, every piece felt royal, from the greenery and floral on the staircase to the touches of fruit in the centerpieces. The gowns, veils, shoes and jewelry from Cameo and Cufflinks were perfect as well as the stunning headpiece from Eileen Treacy. I can’t get enough of Brook’s beautiful antiques from Cellar Door Vintage Rentals. Crystal Cruz did a fantastic job on hair and makeup and was able to create the perfect look. Carolyn from Celebration Creation Linen Rentals provided the delectable rose linen for the dessert table to tie in the settings. Cathy MacRae at Creative Weddings Planning & D cor brought a level of detail and quality on the stationary that can only be described as exquisite, and our photographer Paige Woodbury Photography was able to capture it all in an elegant and seamless way. I would like to thank all of the vendors that came on board to do this project, and show brides that themed weddings don’t have to be tacky, and that supporting local business delivers incredible work.
