Love Crush Weddings knocked this Gatsby themed wedding out of the park! Olivia of Love Crush Weddings worked with Lindsey & Jeff on their gold, black and deep red wedding decor and came up with the perfect mix of modern and art deco details to make their theme come to life. Lindsey wore a gorgeous, high neck halter top gown and Jeff rocked his velvet smoking jacket. I absolutely loved working with Lindsey & Jeff on their dream wedding! They knew exactly what they wanted and so it was easy to help bring their vision to life. Basing the d cor off of a Gatsby theme we used a black, gold and a deep merlot red colour palate. We had such a great time coming up with different ideas on how to pull the d cor together. Lindsey & Jeff weren’t about to let a little rain stop them from having their ceremony outdoors with the mountains as their beautiful backdrop. Thankfully the Rim Rock had enough umbrellas to accommodate all the guests. They toughed it out in the rain for most of their photos as well! The ballroom was so intimate and romantic with all the candles lit. The lighting was on point! The best was yet to come… The party was off the hook! Instead of the traditional “clinking of glasses” for a kiss they had hula hoops for the guests to use in a creative way in order to get them to kiss. It was so hilarious! The guests were practicing their acts in the hallways prior to. There were some pretty epic shows! It didn’t stop there, the speeches were great, and at times there wasn’t a dry eye in there. Lindsey & Jeff are such a beautiful and loving couple and their friends and family were definitely a reflection of that. Overall the wedding was beyond what they ever expected! The most perfect day.
