Where there’s fashion, there should certainly be makeup too! Forthis month’s instalment of the Street Style Huntress, I wanted to focus onexactly that – amazing Fall makeup looks that would be appropriate andbeautiful for any bride or bridesmaid, featuring a lovely new lash line fromright here at home – Kasha Lashes!
I love supporting local at every opportunity, and that also goesfor beauty. Kate B has been a makeup artist for over 15 years, and she’scontributed her talents to various editorial work and has worked with countless stunning brides over the years as well. Especially through her work doingbridal makeup, she discovered that a lot of brides loved their looks even moreso when she enhanced their makeup looks with a stunning pair of strip lashes -which is where her dream of starting Kasha Lashes began.

Look One: Au Natural
For this look, Kate really wanted the eye to be more neutral, yetbeautifully defined. She focused more colour inthe crease to give definition and depth, while using Kasha Lashes Au Naturalfor the lashes to finish off the eye look without it overpowering and takingover. Au Natural is the lightest and softest style in the line and is anextremely versatile choice.
She kept the skin dewy and fresh with a flush of colour on thecheek, while the lips were defined with a neutral lip liner and colour to pullthe entire look together.
The stunning beaded gown is the first thing I noticed when wewalked into Novia Mia, so it was the natural choice to complement this first,more natural makeup look. Perfection!
Look Two: Better than Bare
And some brides just need to add a bit of drama to their beautylook, so Kate did just that by adding more tone to the eye to deepen and definethe colour, while this time choosing Better than Bare Kasha Lashes to reallyemphasize and bring out the eyes. This lash style slightly wings out and hasmore depth at the outer corners to really pull the eyes out.
The look is finished off with a bold red lip, which I can alwaysget behind – Kate recommends to always use a lip liner to prevent feathering ofthe lipstick and to ensure longevity.
This look really called for drama and fun, so a full skirt witha little ruffle action was so in order. I love how many different styles andchoices Novia Mia provides their customers – stunning!
