A Rocky Mountain wedding day filled with sunshine. Le sigh. We’re total suckers for gorgeous weddings in Kananaskis, and Chey and Dustin’s is no exception. An outdoor ceremony that allowed guests to bask in the bright blue sky and our mountain skyline, it was lush and loving, and everything a couple dreams about. For the reception, Magical Moments Events put together a romantic decor theme, with white and black details but showered the room in elegant purple lighting that gave the room an amazing glow.

Chey and Dustin tied the knot over the August long weekend, surrounded by loving family and friends. Delta Kananaskis Viewpoint 5 offered breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains which in essence was the main décor for the ceremony. The clients wanted to incorporate their surrounding as much as possible. With picturesque views of the mountains as their backdrop Chey and Dustin said “I Do” in front of their closest family and friends. After the ceremony, photos were taken on the grounds of Delta Kananaskis while guests made their way to the Mount Kidd Ballroom. Appetizers and beverages were available and the mingling began. The room was decorated in all white however the room lighting was in purple which made for a soft “wow factor.” After listening to the speeches you fell more in love with this couple and could sense the happiness in the room. Dancing continued until the very end with the groom having the microphone in his hand most of the evening getting guests involved with the dancing. So much laughter and love!
