Paired with glittering gold, this colour duo creates a level of opulence that anyone would be happy to indulge in. When it comes to luxury weddings, Julianne Young Weddings is bringing unique modern and feminine touches to Calgary couples, and Michelle and Travis’ Banff wedding is no exception. From the ceremony to the reception, no detail was overlooked when it came to creating the perfect wedding day, including having renowned Calgary wedding photographer Edward Ross on hand to capture every moment. Every detail of the wedding represented Travis and me to a tee. From the airplane broach on my bouquet to represent Travis, and a blue angel to represent my late father, the gold fish hook on the groom’s boutonniere, a close friend becoming ordained to marry us, a family friend playing the harp during cocktail hour, a red carpet affair with lots of golds, reds, and wood to represent us as a couple. A press wall during cocktails for people to get photos in front of and a choreographed first dance. We wrote our own vows, and it was a perfect winter day in the mountains.
